  Consists of a six times life size model of a human eye, featuring a functional Lucite lens which inverts images. Shows the cornea, through which the iris and pupil are visible, the large lacrimal (tear) gland, attachments for all six muscles that move the eyeball, the optic nerve, and surrounding blood vessels. Also illustrates the vitreous body, choroid coat, and retina. Includes a highly magnified diagrammatic cross section detailing rods, cones, and other retinal microstructures.
